We're entering the blogosphere. This is a whole new world but we're all about new worlds so it should be fine. I just said good night by email to a new member who is getting her kids ready to go back to school for the first day tomorrow and getting herself ready for work after the long holiday weekend. She says she looks so forward to not having to do that next year. Hopes and dreams abound. Let's push this through and make it happen for everyone. There's a lot of need to be fulfilled out there. Up and Into the Great Wide Open

Well took a bit, but we're live with our blog by mid afternoon CST. There will be much more involved here as I become more familiar with this format and what can be accomplished. I'm going to have room for member submissions. You'll be able to see some of the latest members' ads eventually so you can see where everybody is coming from. We'll have feedback capacity, etc. The whole purpose for this is better communication. I stay so busy with the administrative and advertising part of this that I often don't realize that chunks of weeks can pass without contact from me to you. I know that it's important to keep you informed of what is going on. That's how teams work best. I get so caught up in the busy work that I forget that. So here we are with a means of you seeing my ramblings. This blog will have more purpose than that however. As I get it figured out, we'll be able to blast our blog to others. There will be rotating ads here on the front page and all sorts of interesting ways to let people know more about us. It's all good.
Oh and if you'd like to check out the RSS feed...the little orange button in the left panel....you'll need to have a feed reader. There are lots of free ones to download online. I got mine at Pluck.com

RSS Feed Working

Good morning. Some of you may choose to check out the RSS feed by downloading a reader. The purpose of the reader is to have blogs, news feeds, etc. handy in one location straight from your desktop. It's sort of like a super duper bookmark section. You can bookmark your favorite sites that have RSS feed and then right from one location, check out the latest headlines and see if you want to go to the site to check it out further. Or you can just quickly look through the feed and get your information for the day. In the case that you don't want a reader, you can just check out the latest things that are going on with Plan4Power by coming to it through your Web browser like you did to first get here at www.plan4power.com/blog. Another thing about blogs, in case you haven't looked at very many, is that typically the entries are placed with the most recent entry at the top of the page. So you would need to scroll down to see previous entries that you might not have caught on the day they came on. A person can also read past entries in the archives. Can you see how people who check out our blog can begin to learn about and get the flavor of what Plan4Power is all about using blogs as another approach? It will be a lot of fun, less formal, and a way to let people really get to know us and for us to get to know each other better as well. Now that we've done some orientation and once I've gotten more accustomed to what all can be done on our blog, you'll be seeing more ways we plan on using it over the next couple of weeks. Update Weekend

This weekend is update weekend. We like to try to get info out to everyone who is actively helping us to promote their site. So the weekend after the first week and the weekend after the third week of each month is a great time to kick off the month's goals and see what goals need to be set for the following month. If you are new to Plan4Power, you may be receiving your chart for the first time. If you don't have your first book customer yet, you can still benefit from the other two portions of the chart by seeing the prospects who are stacking up for you and how your hits are adding up from your advertising efforts. We are still working to get your updates into a back office for you online. We hope to have the first stages of this project out during the month of September. There are many new features and projects in the works right now. Many of you know how exciting what we are growing is becoming. For those of you who are new to us or who've not seen or heard what is going on, just know that every single day work is being done to promote your online success. This mode of communication is going to give you and I both a quicker way to get the word out and stay in touch. While all of this is going on in the background for you, the best thing you can be doing is to continue finding strong ways to promote your site (for free), so that together we can COVER the Web about Plan4Power. The more people see it, the more curious they become. When they get curious enough to request information or purchase the book from YOUR site, you have another team member !!!! If they find us through one of your team members' sites, you have a new member !!!! If they find us through Plan4Power administrative efforts, you potentially have a new member from rotation !!!! You are never working alone now that you're a member of Plan4Power. And remember the first goal? 2 book sales moves you to Phase 2. This weekend we hope to finish the video presentation so that you can visually see what Phase 2 and Phase 3 do for your income. I've put it out into written word and on charts, but nothing says it best than seeing someone draw it out for you. Technology provides the means and so we're going to use it. There's not a doubt in my mind that when you fully understand, you will be putting out free ads and showing your site every extra moment you have. It's all about people. People make things happen. Computers, the Internet, products, services and companies are there for WE THE PEOPLE to use for our best interest. Without people, no business will work. Let's get the word out to more fortunate souls. And if you're having a little bit of a feeling that you're a fortunate soul, but you're still not totally sure, hang on for the ride because at some point you'll fully know. In fact it might be a good idea to catch some extra sleep. Because when it all sinks in, you may have some sleepless nights thinking of all the possibilities. Some days are just so filled that they go by so quickly. Today has been like that. Lots of good people to talk to and lots of ideas flowing. The call team had a really positive and responsive day. That's ALWAYS good. This weekend we tie up some of the presentation video and I'm looking forward to sending that out. For any of you who are on dial up and would like for me to send you a Video CD, email me and I'll burn you one. Make sure I have your mailing address. I can't wait for those of you who haven't seen the numbers explained, to get a good look. You'll see why it's so worth building a strong team. There are several things that you'll hear me talking about all the time. One of them is how wonderful it is to have a plan where people aren't feeling the tension from paying out monthly, WHILE they are trying to build their business. This is one of the main reasons people get discouraged in building a business like this. It takes some time to build no matter what the offer is. That time seems to get even longer and people tend to drop off your team when they are spending money month after month without really making any. Then, just about the time you feel like you're getting somewhere, people start dropping out and you've got to start all over again. That can be discouraging for even the most resilient of business builders. There is no reason for this to occur using the Plan4Power. It's so nice to have a plan that has so much universal appeal. Make it a GREAT day tomorrow.
Weekend Wonders

Hello p4p crew. Hope it's cranking up to be a great weekend for you all. I'm getting in a quick entry here before the "film crew" gets here. We've been working on the videos for awhile and hope to finalize at least one segment, the Phase 2 induction to Phase 3 presentation, THIS weekend. Send all of your positive thoughts our way. We'll need it. It's always fun, the people involved in making the video camp out at my house for the weekend and it can get pretty silly around here. But you know what? It's good to have fun at what you're doing to make money. When people can tell that we are, I think it adds that extra appeal. We want to show that we're serious about making serious money, but that it's good fun to make money as well. While I'm talking about the video project, I know that many of you are on dial up Internet connection and it's an issue trying to watch the early video content I uploaded to the Web. Don't forget that when a portion of it is good enough for prime time, we'll send you one on Video CD. You'll just need to let me know you want one. Eventually we'll have a real mail welcome package that includes the CD that will go out to all new members. I think it will help people get oriented better and faster. Also, some of you may have already heard that we're back to the idea of Web conferencing for the free Internet advertising training and strategy sessions. I always like to tell you something more than "soon" for when. But because I want all of the projects finished NEXT WEEK, that's what I tend to say when I put a time frame to it. I can tell you that it is one of the major priorities and we will be testing it toward the latter part of next week (there's that next week thing) if all goes as planned. Hey !!!! That sounds good....and it's true....IF all goes as planned. Ok you good people. I'll be back here probably late tonight to let you know how progress is going on updates. We have a new roll out plan for the charts. I'll let you know as the weekend progresses how that is going to work. But everyone who is actively working p4p will have an update chart by close of the weekend.
Putting in OVER Time

Came in to let you all know that updates are going to be delayed into Monday. We are still taping as of a little after 10pm CST and I know we have several more hours to go. It's vitally important that we get this portion of the work finalized this weekend. Our presenter Doug lives about 60 miles from here and can only get here weekends. This is going to be a major plus for our promotions. It's good to use technology to be able to show "the plan" the old fashioned way...in person. People respond to and understand it all better this way. We've written the material so that it can be used to send out on Video CD with welcome letters to new members as a good orientation, and in segments in video emails for our email campaigns. There will always be additions and improvements on this work. But it's looking pretty good and I believe will be very effective. I think it will make your updates even more exciting when you know that all of your new people will understand even better what we're about and that it will attract MORE new people to your groups. Stay tuned........
Got to Admit it's Getting Better....A Little Better all the Time

Well we have video. I'll be doing some editing and formatting over the next couple of days. We're fairly pleased with the presentation segments for the most part. It's amazing that Doug does so well in so few takes. Few people are blessed with a talent to do presentations on film or otherwise. He puts the words and cohesive thoughts together himself in a way that I find most insightful. Of course he still refers to "Dr. Fox" a bit more than I think necessary, and he keeps telling people I'm crazy. Imagine that. We plan on continuing to improve the quality and incisiveness of the presentations. But I must say they are really pretty good even at this early stage. Of course with an offer like ours, it's not difficult to turn out something of interest. Several of you have requested a copy on CD. If you want one and you aren't sure that I have your mailing address, please email me and tell me where you want it mailed. This week will be an incredibly busy week (nothing new about that), but I will do my best to get them out to you some time during the week. That is part of the plans for this week anyway. I will also put them up on the Web or even here on the blog as links. Most of the people I've talked to who are on broadband connection are having good luck with them online. I appreciate your patience in waiting a bit past the weekend to get your updates. This video production work will stimulate growth which will ultimately make your updates continue to become even more attractive and exciting. There just weren't enough hours in the day the past week. One of the projects scheduled for this week is to work some more on further automation of the database which will help to speed the update process and get it to the Web based back office solution we all want, sooner. One of our members, Sharon S. will be helping me to learn some of the finer points that I haven't taken the time to teach myself. It's not a problem of getting it to the Web in a secure, pass code protected scenario. It's the fact that if the programming for data base entry is not more efficient for me, uploading it to the Web will just mean one more step to an already timely task. It's definitely getting better all the time. So one day we'll have our dream system. Some of you may remember me talking about my Croatian Internet contact who is a programmer I was hoping to collaborate with for a true Web based, dream solution. Hello Zdravko, if you happen across our blog ! I've had to table the ideas for now, but I intend to pick that project up again at some point when it is practical to do so. I have it in mind as part of a premier marketing package for Phase 4. Daniel H. who is one of our members from here in the states, owns a hosting company and is working with me on the VERY early stages of this package. Remember in each of the Phase 3 programs you will have full back office scenarios. We don't intentionally try to keep you in the dark before then. In fact we notify you of your personal prospects and sales in close to real time so that you can keep track of it fairly easily on your own. But I realize how exciting it is to see new members injected into your foundation team from p4p, your upline and downline members, when that occurs. So we do like to update when real growth happens. It's also good to get feedback on how your ad work is doing. All of this I truly understand. It's just a priority for me to spend the bulk of our time and resources getting the important activity to continue to grow faster. That activity is the development of new customers and sales team members for each of you. Please don't forget that we are dealing with everyone new for you in a one-on-one manner. It is very time consuming but very important work. It's what makes your team grow and ultimately will cause your incomes to explode. Remember these two things. The more experienced you become at Internet marketing, the more you realize how much activity it takes to make action happen. You've always heard that sales is a numbers game. Well it's an even bigger numbers game on the Web. Also, the nature of the Plan4Power is that the foundation team must be built strongly enough to support movement into further phases. Basically you can't have it both ways. If you don't want to have to be paying out of your pocket while your business is being built, then your contact base must be built first before you enter into the bigger, money making programs. Believe me, if a way to make this happen overnight is discovered, I will get wind of it and implement it. If anyone out there knows of a way, by all means let us know about it. And before you send me all kinds of miracle stats on how quickly some totally free offer is growing that requires (and hopes beyond hope for) upgrades from the free sign ups, don't bother. I'm only talking about something sensible and legitimate. I truly believe if there were a way for it to happen overnight, many of us would have already known about it and been doing it. Reality is, it takes some time to build a strong foundation that will last. WARNING: TOUGH TALK SECTION>> You've heard it before somewhere I'm sure. If you're not part of the solution, at least don't be part of the problem. If you feel eager for something to happen, put that extra energy to good use. Do MORE advertising of your URL. If you feel like you don't know what you're supposed to be doing, why not? It's very simply spelled out in the literature. YOU place the ads and we follow up and close the sales. We then invite/recruit/train your sales team. If you're totally passive about p4p, in other words you do very little or no advertising, realize that things will take even more time for you. It is truly your choice as to how much you participate. But PLEASE, don't use "not knowing what's going on" as an excuse not to get busy. And on the note of keeping you posted, many asked for a blog. As they say, "here's your sign." Check it at least a couple of times a week. You may tune in to find I've simply used it as therapy for the day. Or you may find just the pearl of information with which you were hoping to be endowed. So keep yourself posted and stay active putting the good Plan4Power word out there on the WWW. We have a HUGE niche market. It contains those who want an online business and a very large subset, of those who don't want to spend much or have much risk involved because they're leery or have been taken to the cleaners before. As a team we are beginning to have a larger impact on that market all the time. That helps every member in some way, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly. It's all good. To the largest majority of you, I can offer my extreme gratitude for your patience and support. I continue to do everything in my power to earn your trust and faith, and to do what it takes for your patience and efforts to pay off in a very big way. With the kind of movement we are experiencing, I know that it will. But while I'm on an all-nighter style rant, let me express two more things. I told you that I would discuss further some new aspects of the roll out of updates with the method I currently use. Charts will be rolled out in a progressive manner from the most active chart on down. This means that the more positive activity you have, the sooner your chart will be sent out. Active members will receive their charts sooner than passive members. It's another way to reward and encourage those of you who are helping us to promote your business by free Internet advertising. Also, as stated earlier in this entry, we do spend the bulk of our time communicating with prospective and new customers and team members. You may feel as if you fall into this category, should receive more training or guidance, and are being slighted in some way of our attention. Please remember that we are growing to be quite a large group. Take the initiative to update us of your status or situation, your questions, ideas or concerns, or any other valid need or request that you have. In other words, please ask. Don't just sit there and stew about it. Please don't think that we are ignoring or forgetting anyone intentionally. I admit that I have a bad habit of taking on more than I can actually achieve in a 24 hour period. I'm trying to learn my limits (but I don't really believe in limits so it's difficult) and I'm trying to remember not to say I'll do something in a certain time frame that I can't possibly accomplish. Please do me a favor, everyone. If I forget to do something I tell you I will do for you, please don't be offended. I promise I won't be offended when you email or call to kindly remind me. That's just another simple form of support that I ask of you all. In this way you can all help fullfill, in a group manner, the need I have for a personal secretary. Now don't go overboard on this in a way that might take up more time. Just consider what I'm saying and let's all work on it together. For the most part it's a minor thing that seldom is an issue. Of course I'm concerned that I may not be totally aware at times when someone might be put off or have their feelings hurt. I'll state now, for the record, in case you don't already know this. I care about each and every one of you and want to see everyone achieve their highest expectations. As always, together we will continue to do great things.
Update Charts are Rolling Out

Update charts are being sent. You can expect to see yours over the next 6-8 hours if you've been active. Others' charts will go out over the next few days. If you don't have high speed Internet connection, email me and I'll get the chart tutorial video mailed to you. Otherwise, the chart tutorial is on the info site at www.plan4power.info . As soon as all the active charts are out I'll also put those tutorial videos here on the blog if possible. You probably won't need them, it's pretty self explanatory. But there are some things on the video tutorial that may answer some of your questions. OK....getting back to it now. Check your blog often.
High % of Update Charts are Out

About 95% of the charts for active members have gone out. The other 5% will go out sometime later today. The charts that belong to passive members will go out sometime later tomorrow or the following day. I'll give you an update on some of the projects in the works in the next day or so as well.
Video Work

It's looking good. Still editing some and doing some formatting in different forms. I hope to release some tomorrow. I'll repeat. For anyone who wants a copy on Video CD, please request by email and make sure that I have your mailing address. For those on high speed, it will be on the Web, but I will be happy to send a copy to any and everyone. I will try my best to have them ready for mailing Monday. I think that can be accomplished. For those of you who have requested, I've got you on the list to go out hopefully Monday. Some truly BIG things are going on. Lots of times I am so tempted to just spill my guts here, but some things have to stay in the oven a bit longer. Don't wanna feed you anything raw in the center....yuck. I can tell you that doors are opening that make what lies ahead for Plan4Power members feel VERY powerful. It's all good.
Web Conference Training Now Available

Yesterday we had our first Web training sessions for introductory to free Internet advertising. I'm planning a session this next Saturday for anyone who would like to join us. Next Saturday we'll be going over intro to safelists. It will be at 10am CST and you'll need to let me know you are interested so that I can send you an invitation. The Web conference is limited to 10 people so please let me know early if you'd like a spot. We're going to get polished with this and plan on using it for advertising strategy sessions and other planning type forums. I'd also like to expand the available room at some point and offer it free to the public as a way of introducing Plan4Power to others. It may even be offered as part of a bonus for purchasing the eBook. Many good plans are in the works with it. I'm going to mail out some discs of the new video tomorrow. Once again, let me know if you'd like one. You can get it in either DVD, Video CD or CD ROM format to play on your TV or your computer. If you request DVD, let me know if you want DVD+R or DVD-R so that it will work with your player. I'll have the video up on the site soon for those of you on high speed access. I'll notify here of the link when it's published to the Web.

Blowing on Up the Road for a Day or Two

Well, I've lived on the Texas Gulf Coast for most of my life and never thought I'd experience this. Times past when we've evacuated for hurricanes I've taken some water and clothes. This time, the first thing out to the trunk of the car is the computer tower. Really never dreamed I'd see the day. So here in the next few hours it'll be me, the dogs and the hardware. I may not be able to respond to your emails or calls as quickly, but everything should be back to normal here in a few days.

Hideout from Hurricane Update

Still waiting things out here in South Texas. I left with dogs, water and hardware Wednesday afternoon and what is usually 2.5 hours to get to the farm took over 11 hours. What you saw about the I apologize for delays in some of our activity. If I had plans established with any of I've been here at the farm Thank all of you so much for the voicemails and calls, prayers and emails from ALL over the country. It has been a real feeling of encouragement to feel all of your understanding and concern. I'll keep you posted.

Then when I got to Victoria county and there was an evacuation call here, I figured I'd be back on the road yesterday morning, headed further northwest. But as things
stand, we're looking good down here. Hopefully Galveston county will be spared, which is where my home/office is. I don't like seeing that it is apparently moving more into Louisiana either. They've definitely seen enough destruction. No place deserves the ravages of Rita. Let's all continue to pray it weakens itself totally
out of existence.
you and I'm not getting to you by phone or individual email, I hope to be back into
the regular swing just as soon as this storm does whatever it is going to do. The cell
service is in and out because of overloaded circuits. The dial up connection and cell phone will make it difficult to do the Web conference training that was scheduled for tomorrow. Also there is a remote chance we won't have electricity tomorrow after the storm hits, if we get any bad weather here from it. So we will reschedule for next Saturday. I'll try to get with everyone who was on to participate about the reschedule.

This afternoon I made the decision to just stay right here to wait out land fall, so I sat up my computer. Now the data and programs that I use for our business are available to me and I can get back into more of the activity. If I have to stay here for any length of time, due to not being able to get back into my home, I'll go ahead and get satellite broadband out here.
Beautiful Morning

Considering the potential danger that Rita represented, it's amazing that so far there is as little damage as we're hearing of. From what I can gather by the news, the area of Galveston county where I live is fine except for lack of electricity. I know they are warning of potential flooding in areas still and it's very sad to see the re-flooding of New Orleans. But for the most part, I think all are blessed and I feel especially so. I can't express enough my thankfulness to all of you for your concern, caring calls and emails and your patience while we get back into full swing. When things like this occur and shift day-to-day routine, it gives a chance to take a breath and do some analysis. It's also a time for reflection and it can create true appreciation for current blessings.
I'll be back to the home office soon. They aren't letting Houstonians return yet. There are 2.5 million to return and no gasoline in Houston or within miles of Houston, plus the electricity situation. They say it could be as much as three more days. Things are still moving along with our business, we've barely skipped a beat. We're moving forward with renewed fervor and gratefulness. Back to you all soon.
Home Sweet Home

Amazing how things look even more wonderful than before when you come back to your home after something like the possible threats Rita represented. I feel very blessed to have suffered very little damage. Our side of town was able to "move back in" today, and I'm back home and have hooked the computer back up and online. Time to get to WORK. It feels so good to be back. Thank you all once again for your patience and caring support.
Update Weekend

This weekend will be update weekend. Everyone should do as much advertising as possible during this week so that you'll see that increase in stats and prospects. There has been some very good activity this month. Those of you who are helping to promote your site, thank you for your efforts. It takes some time to build, but it does pay off.
